I attended the practice today for ear wax removal and had a very positive experience. The receptionist, Karen, was warm, calm, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Iain, the doctor, explained the procedure clearly, took the time to talk with me, and made me feel completely at ease. The procedure itself was quick and painless—just a little tickly, but otherwise very comfortable. Iain showed me before and after photos, which was really helpful, and offered some good advice on how to look after my ear health going forward. Since the treatment, my hearing feels noticeably clearer, and I no longer need to turn my headphones up so loudly. Overall, the service was professional, reassuring, and effective. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend them to others. ~ Emma S

Attended Almond Hearing in Clarkston with my sister who was looking for new hearing aids. Her hearing is very bad and we were looking for a lot of help. Almond Hearing had been recommended by friends. The Receptionists were very pleasant and helpful and Ian the audiologist could not have been kinder and professional checking her hearing /ears thoroughly asking questions explaining the different models cost and the difference between all of them. My sister wanted to try the new AI models and she was given a trial period with these fantastic hearing aids. The difference they have made has made life much easier for her. There is also a follow up service. I do not normally make reviews but in this instance I felt I should. ~ Margaret k

From going for an initial assessment, knowing I had damage, to the end product of hearing aids the treatment throughout was excellent. The assessment identified the issues and was explained fully to me which helped me understand my hearing loss. I was given a demo set of hearing aids to try which were set to my needs and showed what I was missing over the years. I purchased hearing aids and the after care is also excellent. Throughout the whole experience there was never pressure to buy any product and the decisions were all mine. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Wish I’d done it sooner. ~ John J

I recently visited Almond Hearing Clinic due to the sudden onset of tinnitus and was seen by audiologist Ian Edgar. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. Ian was highly professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in detail. The hearing tests were comprehensive, and the modern hearing devices he recommended have significantly reduced my tinnitus from the moment I started using them. Whet walking in to the clinic I was greeted by Ian & was made to feel at ease. The clinic is very well presented & spotlessly clean. After being recommended by a friend to go here I was very pleased with the trstment I received. Ian was very friendly, informative, knowledgeable & put my worries to rest. He asked me lots of relevant questions regarding my previous Medical history & gave clear instructions as to the procedure. Went to get my hearing checked because my wife was nagging me that I was going deaf! 😏. Spent an hour with Iain at Almond and he was incredibly thorough! Picked up on something that my GP needs to be aware of and did a detailed check of my ears with a clever gadget. The outcome? Well, I went there fully prepared for the wife to get her credit card out for the best hearing aid and - she didn’t need to!! Happy days. Iain said my hearing was in the normal range. Iain and Karen at Almond Hearing, Seres Road are really highly recommended by myself and my mum! From the minute I went in to the minute I left everything was explained thoroughly. Nothing was too much bother and no question was daft! I did not realise how bad my hearing was but now I can safely say that I wish I had gone years earlier. Clinic is lovely and spotless and everyone is so helpful! From wax removal to new hearing aids, everything is done to make the best of the hearing you have. Having no previous hearing issue history and recently requiring attention, I attended Almond Hearing clinic. The very comfortable practice is spotless with wonderful natural light and arrangements were efficient and prompt. Frazer was patient, knowledgeable, understanding and used micro suction; he took pictures and gave in depth explanations and advice on the ear conditions - providing complete confidence in all aspects of our discussion. I recently had ear wax removal at Almond Hearing using microsuction - a procedure I have had on a regular basis for many years but this was my first visit to this clinic which is modern and spotlessly clean. Iain was very friendly and professional, putting me at ease and, making sure I was comfortable, carried out the wax removal very efficiently and with no discomfort - easily the best experience I have had using this method. I would highly recommend Almond Hearing. Iain is obviously a first class audiologist but for me, equally, if not more important, was his excellent communication skills. Very easy going manner and in what was an extremely challenging time mentally for me, his assistance has helped me get to a much better place now. When my father’s hearing aid became contaminated Ian dealt with the issue both compassionately and professionally. He had a lovely, easy going manner during the initial assessment which was thorough and unrushed. At the subsequent appointments this manner continued as did that of the reception staff who were kind and friendly towards my 94 year old father making the whole experience easy. Really brilliant experience with Almond Hearing. Booking was really efficient and reminders were sent to make sure everything would be ok for my appointment. Ian, the Audiologist who helped me, was just fantastic. My dad was seen by Frazer the audiologist who explained in depth the procedure your dad was going to get - micro suction wax removal. The wax was tricky to remove due to the build up, but Frazer was very patient and worked his magic. My dad felt at ease and looked after by professionals. I took advantage of the half price ear removal on offer this July. Before starting Iain discussed my tinnitus issues and whether I was suffering any hearing loss. Iain was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He discussed the process before starting and theirebwas a notable difference following it. Have had my ears cleaned by Ian multiple times now. The difference in my hearing is night and day after each time, Ian is very nice and does a very good job at making you feel comfortable. Thankfully this place is local to me as from experience the gp don’t make it easy for you to get your ears cleaned and will have you waiting weeks. Took advantage of the half price wax removal almond hearing have running until the end of July. I’ve been elsewhere for wax removal but won’t go anywhere else from now on and won’t hesitate to pay full price in the future. Really impressed with the clinic and the audiologists professionalism.
